About The Spinlight Drum Mixing Template

Mix professional sounding drums faster with the Spinlight Drum Mixing Template for Logic Pro. This session template removes the tedious setup work so you can focus on the creative side of mixing.

Simply load the template into Logic Pro, drag your drum tracks into the corresponding channels, line them up, and start mixing. The routing, bussing, and core processing are already configured to give you a strong starting point, helping you get most of the way to a polished drum mix in minutes.

The template works for both live acoustic drums and MIDI drums and only uses Logic Pro stock plugins, so no third party plugins are required.

One optional instance of ChromaGlow is included as a greyed-out plugin. Intel Mac users can safely remove this plugin, and it will not affect the template. The template does not require an M Chip Mac but does require a version of Logic that supports track stacks.

Optional spots are included for commonly used drum mixing tools such as Steven Slate Trigger 2 and de-bleeding plugins like BSA Silencer or THR DeBleed. These are not required to use the template but can help elevate your drum mixes even further.

This template also includes a demo session with multitracks from multiple different songs and recording setups, giving you practical material to practice on and experiment with while learning the workflow.
